Cooking courses

Our cooking courses are carried out from one to five half days and are reserved to the guests of our hotel and our country houses. Their setting is a unique place: the medieval kitchen of the ancient monastery of Villa Pitiana. Each day our guests (in group of max 12 persons) lern how to prepare a single recipe of the tuscan cooking. The whole course offers the composition proceeding of a hors-d'oeuvres and two main dishes. After the preparation the participants are invited to a food and wine tasting. Our cooks speak English and provide information about the history and the tradition of the Tuscan food, the olive oil and the wine. A visit to a n ancient winery is part of our programme. At the end of the lessons our guests are given all recipes and a keepsake of their stay in the Florentine countryside.
